This large and popular Plant Fair is held in the grounds of Mapperton House, near Beaminster. The superb gardens have been voted one of the top 50 gardens in the UK and winner of the Garden of the Year 2020 Historic Houses award and we are very pleased access to the extensive gardens is included in the entrance price.
The specialist nursery stands will be selling a wide range of plants for your garden or conservatory from organic bulbs and vegetable plants, summer tender perennials, ferns and herbaceous perennials. With such a large selection of stands, this popular sale offers a massive choice, great value and is great for plant lovers as well as those who want a ‘Gardeners Day out’ in fantastic surroundings. The Coach House café will be open serving hot drinks and snacks.
Tickets admission is just £5 per person, with free tickets available for under 5’s. Please ensure you include any child tickets for under 5’s in your group booking. Your ticket includes FREE entry to the award-winning gardens.
Well behaved dogs are allowed into the plant fair, but not in the gardens.
The fair is an outdoors event and measures will be in place to allow plenty of space around stalls. Social distancing must be always observed to ensure a positive and safe environment for all visitors, stallholders, and helpers. Full Covid guidelines for visitors are displayed on the ticket details. For social distancing, we are allowing 100 visitors to enter every 45 minutes, with a maximum of 5 tickets per online booking.

Beneficial charity – Compassion Matters
Compassion Matters is helping children gain the tools they need to build a more compassionate, less anxious future, post-Covid. The charity believes that every child, whatever their background, needs these tools and offers free help to any school. The course is funded entirely by generous donations from individuals and trusts and is underpinned by research from the Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion.
