Kingston Maurward Plant Fair

Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens near Dorchester is excited to be hosting their inaugural Early Spring Specialist Plant Fair!

This event offers gardening enthusiasts an early opportunity to purchase a diverse selection of plants directly from expert growers.

Attendees can look forward to various specialist plant stalls featuring spring and early summer flowering plants, as well as unique and rare species. The fair provides an opportunity for both novice and seasoned gardeners to gain valuable insights and advice from experienced nurseries.

The event will be held on the picturesque terrace of Kingston Maurward House, offering visitors the chance to explore the beautiful gardens and animal park. Whether you are seeking to enhance your garden with new plant varieties or simply enjoy a day amidst nature, the Plant Fair promises to deliver.

There will also be opportunities to attend a talk by the head gardener, tours by the Horticulture students or participate in a workshop whilst you are here. Access to the Animal Park and Gardens is included, 

The Animal Park and gardens are open from 10am – 4pm with beautifully stocked sales benches, floral arrangements and a handy plant creche, so there is plenty to see and do. 

A percentage of your donations will go towards “Tree for Dorset”.

The Plant Fair itself is fully accessible with free parking available on site.

Dogs welcome on leads. 

Refreshments will be available in the state rooms in Kingston Maurward House and Barn Cafe.
