Spring Plant Fair at the The Walled Garden, Moreton

First-ever Plant Fair at The Walled Garden at Moreton! 

The Walled Garden is an attractive five-acre landscaped garden in the village of Moreton, Dorset and will be a perfect setting for this exciting new event.

The Plant Fair will have stands selling plants to suit all pockets and interests – whether you are a plant connoisseur looking for rare specific plants or have an area in the garden that needs refreshing, we are sure you will find just the right plants. 

If you are looking for shrubs and climbers, seasonal flowering perennials, or garden-worthy alpines, you will not be disappointed. Or perhaps organic vegetable and herbs plants, just ready to be planted out? Love Salvias or passionate about succulents? There will be specialist nurseries to tempt you.

Wildlife-friendly gardeners will be spoilt for choice as well with a wide range of plants specially selected as good pollinators. Looking for something different? How about a new cactus, miniature orchids, air plants, carnivorous plants, and tropical plants.

Every garden needs plant supports and art pieces, and there will be two local artisan blacksmiths to tempt you.

As well as the Plant Fair, there will be the popular Dovecote Café and other refreshments, the garden shop, a children’s play park, and a range of small animals to see! The Walled Garden offers FREE PARKING and dogs on leads are welcome. And of course, you can explore the gardens which re-opened to the public in May 2015 and has continued with significant replanting and restoration since then.
